Support WS

The Development Office is responsible for all fundraising efforts at Westminster School. Questions concerning financial or in-kind donations should be directed to this office.

Annual Giving Fund

Donations received become part of the school’s operating budget and can pay for such items as teacher salaries and benefits, teaching tools, educational equipment, continuing education for employees, and necessities from furniture to light bulbs. One-sixth of each donation is split equally between the Faculty/Staff Endowment Fund and the Financial Aid Endowment Fund. Please click here to make an online gift to the school.

  • Supports the Faculty/Staff Endowment and the Financial Aid Endowment Funds
Auction Giving
Our annual Auction is held each spring with more than 300 patrons attending. Proceeds from the Auction are used for the operating budget. One-sixth of the proceeds is split equally between the Faculty/Staff Endowment Fund and the Financial Aid Endowment Fund. Gifts to help underwrite the Auction are tax-deductible and can be made on-line. Patrons can also help underwrite the opportunity for teachers to attend the Auction with a contribution.

Endowment Giving

Gifts to the Faculty/Staff and Financial Aid Funds help take the pressure off the School’s operating budget. These gifts help pay faculty and staff salaries and benefits and help provide need-based financial assistance to students. The Endowment Fund Committee comprised of trustees and administrative personnel are responsible for oversight of the Endowment Fund Policy.

  • Helps provide salary increases for faculty and staff
  • Helps provide need-based aid for students
Planned Giving

Planned giving vehicles insure Westminster School’s long-term security and financial support for future generations of children. They also can improve the donor’s financial and tax situation. There are many ways such as through bequests, life insurance policies, or individual retirement accounts that philanthropic giving can blend with a donor’s financial needs and tax planning. Please contact Jon Trudgeon for more information on planned giving.

Matching Gifts

Please check with your employer to find out if your business or organization as an employee benefit will match your gift. More than 550 American corporations match their employees' philanthropic financial contributions. Matching gifts allow you to double or triple your gift to the School on an annual basis.
