MR. AMALONG (Class of 2006) holds a B.A. in political science with a minor in education from the University of Tulsa. He also holds an M.A. in political science from the University of Central Oklahoma. He started his career substitute teaching at Harding Charter Preparatory High School. Mr. Amalong teaches sixth grader history at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. ASHINHURST holds a bachelor's degree in language arts education from The University of Oklahoma and has finished all coursework for an M.Ed., in instructional leadership and academic curriculum from OU. Prior to teaching seventh grade English at Westminster, she taught ninth and tenth grade English at Norman High School and Highland Park High School in Texas. Mrs. Ashinhurst completed an administrative internship in 2017-18 and is now the Middle Division Director at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. ATCHLEY holds a B.S. in elementary education from Oklahoma City University and a Masters of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in elementary administration. She served as director of instructional programs for Mustang Public Schools and has taught both regular and gifted classes in the Mustang and Moore public schools. Mrs. Atchley teaches second grade at Westminster School. (2015)

MR. BAIRD graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in physical education. He has had additional training as a climbing instructor. Mr. Baird teaches middle school physical education and is Westminster's athletic director. (1981)

MRS. BAKER holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in human development and family science with an option in Early Childhood Education. She has her M.Ed., in Education with a certification in Montessori Education from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Baker teaches practical life, science, and language in kindergarten at Westminster School. (2012)

MS. BISHOP holds a B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and an M.A. in anthropology from Vanderbilt University. She has taught archaeology at the college level and as a fourth grade teacher in language arts and social studies. Ms. Bishop is the Lower Division library teacher at Westminster School. (2017)

MRS. BLACK holds a B.S. in elementary education from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. She has taught third and fourth grades since 1991 in York (PA), Wichita (KS) and Norman (OK). Mrs. Black teaches third grade at Westminster School. (2018)

MS. BLAKE holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. She also holds an early childhood certification and previously taught third and fourth grade in Edmond. Ms. Blake teaches fourth grade social studies at Westminster School. (2019)

MS. BOLES holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught fifth grade in Edmond and third grade in Putnam City. Mrs. Boles teaches third grade at Westminster School. (2019)

MS. BORKENHAGEN holds a B.F.A. in interior design from the University of Central Oklahoma and an M.Ed. in early childhood education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has previously taught English in Korea, kindergarten in Oklahoma City, and pre-kindergarten in Edmond. Ms. Borkenhagen teaches 3-day at Westminster School. (2017)

MR. BRATCHER graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in elementary education. He has taught grades first through fifth in his 20 years with Oklahoma City Public Schools. Mr. Bratcher teaches first grade at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS.BRATCHER holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma and Middle Level Math certification. She has taught grades 2-8 in Oklahoma City and Norman Public School. This is her 17th year teaching. Mrs. Bratcher teaches middle school math at Westminster School. (2017)

MS. BROWN received her education at Szu Wei in Hualien, Taiwan and attended Oklahoma City University. Ms. Brown is a teaching assistant in the 5-Day classroom at Westminster School. (1998)

MRS. CARLSEN holds a B.S. in science education from the University of Oklahoma. She taught life sciences at Norman North High School and was an educational officer for Central Oklahoma Marine Aquarium Society. Mrs. Carlsen teaches seventh grade science and coaches volleyball and track at Westminster School. (2010)

MRS. CASTILLO holds a B.S. in elementary education and holds an M.Ed. in school administration, curriculum, and development from the University of Oklahoma. She has previously taught first and third grade in Moore, Norman, and All Saints. Mrs. Castillo teaches second grade at Westminster School. (2019)

MR. CLIFT holds a B.S. in music education from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. He has worked with students at the elementary and high school level in New York and Oklahoma. Mr. Clift teaches Lower Division music at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. COGHILL earned her B.B.A. in general business cum laude from Oklahoma Christian University and her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. Prior to joining Westminster, she did tax work at a public accounting firm in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Coghill is a licensed attorney in the state of Oklahoma and works as the director of business operations at Westminster School. (2015)

MRS. DAVIDSON holds a B.S. in elementary education with a middle school math endorsement from Oklahoma State University. She recently taught third and fifth grades at St. Eugene's and Casady. Mrs. Davidson teaches fourth grade language arts and social studies at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. DUBOW holds a B.S in early childhood education, child studies, and Spanish and an M.Ed. in special education from Vanderbilt University. She taught kindergarten through second grade in Nashville, Tennessee, and in independent schools in New York City. Mrs. Dubow is the reading specialist at Westminster School. (2015)

MRS. EASTHAM (Class of 1998) attended Tulane University and the University of Oklahoma, studying studio art, anthropology, and art history. She previously worked as an office administrator for Norman Vision Source. Mrs. Eastham is the Lower Division office coordinator at Westminster School. (2017)

MR. ECKROAT holds a B.A. in German and a minor in art from Oklahoma Baptist University. Mr. Eckroat is the facilities coordinator for Westminster School. (2004)

MR. EVANS holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma and a B.A. in journalism/advertising from the University of Oklahoma. He has taught fifth grade in the Putnam City schools and fourth grade at Westminster School. Mr. Evans is the Lower Division math resource teacher at Westminster School. (2006)

MRS. FISHER holds a B.A. in both sociology and family psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University and an M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma. Before coming to Westminster, she taught in the Norman Public School District. Mrs. Fisher teaches fifth grade science and is the co-director of the Lower Division at Westminster School. (1999)

MRS. FRANTZ holds a bachelors degree in Spanish from the University of Oklahoma and is currently studying for an M.ED., in instructional leadership and academic curriculum with a focus in world language education. She previously taught Spanish one and three in the freshman academy at Norman High School. Ms. Frantz teaches Spanish at Westminster School. (2018)

MS. FREJO holds a B.A. in Mass Communication with an emphasis on public relations from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has served in several non-profits, most recently as the Jewish Federation's primary communication liaison with the Jewish and greater Oklahoma City communities. Ms. Frejo is Westminster's Director of Communications. (2017)

MRS. GLEASON holds a B.S. in education from the University of Oklahoma. She taught first grade in Putnam City before coming to Westminster. Mrs. Gleason is the co-director of the After School Club in the Lower Division and coaches fourth grade girls' basketball at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. GODFREY holds a B.S. in education, secondary English from OSU and a master's of library and information studies from OU. She worked as a high school English teacher/librarian, the Lower Division's technology teacher and most recently as the chief information officer for Deer Creek Public Schools. Mrs. Godfrey is the co-director of the Lower Division at Westminster School. (2009)

MRS. GOODWIN holds a B.A. in both Religion and English from Oklahoma City University and an M.Div. from Drew University. She taught sixth grade English and Language Arts for Oklahoma City Public Schools. Mrs. Goodwin teaches sixth grade social history at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. GRAHAM holds a B.S. in accounting cum laude from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a Certified Public Accountant and previously worked for Gillispie & Ogilbee, CPAs. Mrs. Graham is the director of finance and financial aid for Westminster School. (2006)

MRS. RUSSELL HARBISON (Class of 1981) holds a B.A. degree in chemistry and German from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. She also holds an M.A. in Art Conservation from State University College at Buffalo, NY. Ms. Russell taught high school chemistry in Maine and worked several years as an artifact conservator. Ms. Russell is a graduate of Westminster School and teaches sixth grade science. (2000)

MRS. HEATH holds a B.S. in physical education from Oklahoma Christian University. Mrs. Heath teaches physical education in the Primary Division at Westminster School. (1971)

MS. HUDSON holds a B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught first grade in the Putnam City Schools. Ms. Hudson teaches practical life, language and science in kindergarten at Westminster School. (2000)

MS. JACKSON holds a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. She has taught in Moore Public Schools and at John Rex Charter. Ms. Jackson teaches fifth grade math at Westminster School. (2018)

MR. JENSEN holds an AMS early childhood certificate, an M.A. in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University and a Ph.D. in music composition from the University of Minnesota. He has taught as an adjunct professor of music for the University of Oklahoma, and continues to teach as an adjunct online for the Indiana University East. Mr. Jensen teaches kindergarten in the Primary Division at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. JENSEN graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.M.A. in viola performance followed by the completion of a music education credential program. She has taught at Montessori schools in California, Minnesota and Oklahoma and also directed music programs. Mrs. Jensen earned her M.Ed in early childhood education with a Montessori certificate from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Jensen teaches 5-Day language and practical life at Westminster School. MRS. KABRICK holds a B.A. from the University of Tulsa and is currently studying for her R.N. at Oklahoma City Community College. She has worked at Westminster in various roles, as well as served as a camp nurse for several summers. Mrs. Kabrick is a school nurse at Westminster School. (2003)

MRS. KIM holds a B.A. in Spanish and English from Kyunghee University in Korea. She has her M.Ed., in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University and is certified by the American Montessori Society. She was the director of Norman Korean Language School. Mrs. Kim teaches kindergarten geography, cultural studies, practical life and art at Westminster School. (2014)

MRS. KLEPPER holds a B.S. in nursing from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked in the neonatal intensive care unit at Children's Hospital and as a school nurse with the Oklahoma City Public Schools. Mrs. Klepper is a nurse for Westminster School. (2008)

MRS. LAUZON holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in psychology and minored in child development and counseling. She is certified by the American Montessori Society and received her M.Ed. from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Lauzon taught at Holy Family Cathedral School in Tulsa where she piloted the school's first Montessori program. Mrs. Lauzon teaches in the 5-day classroom at Westminster School. (1998)

MRS. S. LEE holds a B.A. in music summa cum laude from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College and a B.A. in Japanese education in Korea. She also received a Master's in early childhood education and Montessori Certification with honors from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Lee assists in teaching in the 5-Day classrooms at Westminster School. (2009)

MR. LEMMONS holds a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Oklahoma Christian University. He has worked previously as the sports supervisor at Camp Chaverim. Mr. Lemmons coaches basketball and is the co-director of the Lower Division's After School Club at Westminster School. (2010)

MRS. LLOYD holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught third and sixth grades in Edmond and Oklahoma City. Most recently she has taught math, science, and social studies in Deer Creek. Mrs. Lloyd teaches technology at Westminster School. (2019)

MRS. LUKE holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in child development and a Master's in family and child studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. Previously, she was employed by the University of Oklahoma as a literacy mentor for the Early Steps to Literacy grant. Mrs. Luke teaches 3-Day at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. MARTIN holds a B.S. in psychology from Southern Nazarene University and a Master’s of Arts in School Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. Since 2005, she has worked as a School Psychologist for a number of school districts in Oklahoma. Mrs. Martin is an independent contractor who offers psychology services at Westminster School. MS. McCALEB holds a B.S. in education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught both as a substitute teacher and in the After School Club at Westminster School. Ms. McCaleb teaches fourth grade science in the Lower Division at Westminster School. (2014)

MRS. McCANTS holds a B.A. in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has a minor in computer science, which includes courses in BASIC language, COBOL, ASSEMBLY programming language, and application software. Mrs. McCants is the technology coordinator for Westminster School. (1982)

MR. McCARTHY is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's degree in multi-disciplinary studies. He has been a private tutor for high school and middle school math students at Casady School where he also coached high school and middle school sports. Mr. McCarthy teaches middle school math and coaches basketball and soccer at Westminster School. (2017)

MS. McKENNON holds a B.S. in biological sciences from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She gained experience teaching science from the Primary Division to the Middle Division during her fellowship year at Westminster. Ms. McKennon teaches eighth grade science at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. McNEILL holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University and her M.Ed. in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University. She earned her American Montessori diploma after completing her Montessori internship at Westminster School. Mrs. McNeill is a 5-Day teacher at Westminster School. (2011)

MS. MOORE holds a B.S. in physical education and health from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has previously taught kindergarten - eighth grade physical education classes at Casady and also served as the head softball coach. Ms. Moore teachers Lower Division physical education and coaches basketball and track at Westminster School. (2019)

MS. NASH holds a Bachelor of Science degree in general studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has done accounting work at several businesses in the Oklahoma City community. Ms. Nash handles accounts payable and payroll for Westminster School. (2013)

MRS. NAVARRO holds a Bachelor's in art history from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Before she moved to the United States, she taught ethics, history and art history in high school and art in middle school at Colegio Reims. Mrs. Navarro teaches Spanish at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. NORTON holds a B.S. in nursing from Oklahoma Christian University. She has worked as an emergency room nurse in Virginia and Oklahoma. She continues to work in an emergency room here in the metro area. Mrs. Norton is a nurse at Westminster School. (2019)

MS. O'NEIL (Class of 1981) is a Westminster alum who earned a B.A. in international relations from the University of Southern California. She worked in a variety of marketing positions on the west coast before joining Westminster as the ISAS accreditation coordinator. Ms. O'Neil handles accounts receivable and other administrative tasks for Westminster School. (2004)

MS. ORR attended Oklahoma State University's program in 3-D design and earned a B.A. in Fine Arts at the University of Central Oklahoma. She previously taught at Saint Charles Borromeo. Ms. Orr teaches Middle Division art at Westminster School. (2017)

MRS. PAQUE holds a B.A. from Southern Methodist University. She has her M.Ed. in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University and is certified by the American Montessori Society. Mrs. Paque teaches kindergarten math, sensorial and botany at Westminster School. (2015)

MS. PARKER is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in elementary education. She taught her first four years in Bixby Public Schools and has been in the Deer Creek Public Schools for the past 15 years. Her years of teaching have all been in the fifth and sixth grades with areas of social studies, math, language arts, and music. Ms. Parker teaches fifth grade social studies at Westminster School. MRS. PARKS holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi and her M.Ed., in dyslexia therapy from Mississippi College. Mrs. Parks is a Certified Academic Language Therapist and has previously taught kindergarten, first grade, and dyslexia therapy for students with various learning abilities. Mrs. Parks also holds certifications specifically in reading and English. Mrs. Parks teaches third grade at Westminster School. (2017)

MRS. PATEL holds a Master's degree in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University and is certified by the American Montessori Society. She previously taught third grade at St. Mary's in Guthrie. Mrs. Patel teaches math, geography and sensorial in the 5-Day classroom at Westminster School. (2014)

MR. PATTERSON holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and he will be completing his M.A. in counseling from Southern Nazarene University in December of 2019. During his internship for counseling from May 2018 – August 2019, Mr. Patterson worked with children in both individual and group therapy utilizing play therapy techniques centered on Cognitive Behavior Therapy to explore and process trauma and address emotions and behaviors. Mr. Patterson is a teacher that works with both lower and middle divisions at Westminster School. (2019)

MRS. PHELPS holds a B.S., in mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma and her M.Ed. from Oklahoma City University. Mrs. Phelps teaches sixth grade math at Westminster School. (1981)

MS. PICKARD (Class of 1980) holds a B.F.A. in painting/printmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute and a Montessori Teaching Certificate from Oklahoma City University. She has studied at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and the Chautauqua School of Art. Ms. Pickard taught art at the School of the Plains and has been a Montessori teacher in our primary division. She has been an Artist-in-Residence throughout Oklahoma, and her art has been shown in galleries across the country. Ms. Pickard is a graduate of Westminster School and teaches Lower Division art. MRS. PIPPIN holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. She has taught language arts and social studies to middle school students in Oklahoma City and Deer Creek. Additionally, she has taught fourth and sixth grade composition. Mrs. Pippin teachers fifth grade language arts at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. REGENS (Class of 1993) holds a B.A. in public policy from Duke University and a Master's in education from Pepperdine University. She earned her M.Ed. in independent school leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Columbia University's Teachers College. Mrs. Regens is the assistant head of school. (2006)

MRS. REINEKE holds a B.A. in letters from the University of Oklahoma and a post baccalaureate degree in elementary education from Rio Salado College. She taught fifth grade at Cesar Chavez School in Phoenix, Arizona and fifth grade language arts at Westminster from 2007-2011. Mrs. Reineke is a Westminster School graduate and she teaches eighth grade English, serves as the school's language arts curriculum leader, and coaches tennis at Westminster School. (2007)

MRS. RODGERS holds a B.A. in oral communication from Harding University. She has also completed Schools Attuned training and is a certified Alphabetic Phonics instructor. She previously taught at Trinity School in Oklahoma City for sixteen years. Mrs. Rodgers teaches sixth grade English at Westminster School. (2006)

MRS. ROSZEL worked in the office at Cooper Middle School and as library media assistant at Northridge Elementary in Putnam City. Mrs. Roszel is the Middle Division office coordinator. (1999)

MRS. RYAN holds a Master's of education from Oklahoma City University and the American Montessori certification. Ms. Ryan assists in teaching kindergarten at Westminster School. (2007)

S-Z

MRS. SEABROOK holds a B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught kindergarten and first grade at James L. Dennis Elementary School. Mrs. Seabrook is a second grade teacher at Westminster School. (2012)

MS. SHADID (Class of 1997) holds a Master's of library and information studies and a B.A. summa cum laude in letters from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked as an assistant professor of bibliography and as a librarian at the University of Oklahoma Libraries' Western History Collections. Ms. Shadid is a graduate of Westminster School and is the library media specialist and drama teacher in the Middle Division. (2010)

MRS. SHAW holds a B.A. in French from Hollins College and also a B.S. in education from the University of Missouri. She has studied in France through both Hollins College and Vanderbilt University. She taught in the Missouri Public Schools and at the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. Mrs. Shaw teaches first through fourth grade French at Westminster School. (2001)

MRS. SHEETS (Class of 2008) holds a B.S. in psychology with an emphasis in family and child development from California Lutheran University. She has experience working with both elementary and middle school students after as the first fellow at Westminster School. Mrs. Sheets teaches eighth grade science at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. SIMMONS holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught in Putnam City Schools. Mrs. Simmons teaches second grade at Westminster School. (2005)

MS. SIMON holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma. She previously taught first grade in Deer Creek. Ms. Simon teachers first grade at Westminster School. (2018)

MRS. SIMPSON holds a BFA in music from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's of music education with an emphasis in choral conducting from Kansas State University. She is certified in Level One Orff Schulwerk from Boston College and Level Two from The New York City Chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association. Mrs. Simpson has conducted the Prelude and Minuet Level Choruses for the National Children's Chorus in New York City and taught elementary music for Success Academy Charter School in Harlem, NY. Mrs. Simpson is the Middle Division music teacher at Westminster School. (2016)

MRS. SIMS holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in early childhood education and has her M.Ed. in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University. She taught in Westminster's kindergarten and 5-Day programs from 1995-2002 and from 2011-2013. Mrs. Sims directs Westminster's Primary Division (2011)

MRS. SKARKY (Class of 1992) holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has taught fourth grade and Lower Division technology at Westminster School. Mrs. Skarky is a graduate of Westminster School and is the director of admission at Westminster School. (2001)

MS. THOMPSON holds a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She received her Master's in education from Oklahoma City University, as well as American Montessori certifications in early childhood and elementary. Ms. Thompson teaches first grade at Westminster School. (2007)

MR. TRUDGEON holds a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining Westminster, he worked in community and public affairs for Kerr-McGee Corp. and Cox Communications in Oklahoma City. He is president of Leadership Oklahoma City's Youth Leadership Exchange. Mr. Trudgeon is the development director for Westminster School and coaches basketball. (2014)

MR. TURPEN (Class of 2005) holds a B.A. in history from the University of Oklahoma. He previously spent three years working in the Education Department at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum. Mr. Turpen teaches seventh grade history at Westminster School. (2018)

MR. VERNON holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and his M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma. He has worked toward a doctorate in education and history at Stanford University and completed a Klingenstein Fellowship for independent school heads at Columbia University’s Teachers College. He has taught in middle schools and high schools in Oklahoma City and Norman. Mr. Vernon teaches eighth grade history and heads Westminster School. (1977)

MRS. WADE holds a B.A. in elementary education from the University of Tulsa. She has previously taught first through fifth grades in the Tulsa Public Schools where she served as the math curriculum chair and the professional development site representative. Mrs. Wade teaches fourth grade at Westminster School. (2011)

MR. WARD holds a B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mr. Ward has directed the Lower School After School Club and is now teaching third grade at Westminster School. (1994)

MS. WILLIAMS is certified in Orff Music and with the American Montessori Society. She completed the level one certification of Orff Schulwerk and is working toward level two certification. MRS. WOOD-HALACKA holds a B.S. in family studies and gerontology from Southern Nazarene University.
