Head of School

Bob Vernon holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and his M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma. He has worked toward a doctorate in education and history at Stanford University and completed a Klingenstein Fellowship for independent school heads at Columbia University’s Teachers College. Mr. Vernon is the head of school and teaches eighth grade history at Westminster School. (1977)

Ruth Ann Regens(Class of 1993) holds a B.A. in public policy from Duke University and a Master's in education from Pepperdine University. She earned her M.Ed. in independent school leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Columbia University's Teachers College. Mrs. Regens is the assistant head of school, director of development, and teaches seventh grade math. (2006)

Rebecca Skarky (Class of 1992) holds a B.S. in education from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mrs. Skarky began teaching fourth grade in 2001 and worked previously as the Lower Division's technology teacher. (2001)

Craig Banowetz (Class of 1995) holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mr. Banowetz is the Director of Business Operations at Westminster School. (2021)

Aimee Sims earned her B.S. from Oklahoma State University in early childhood education and has her M.Ed. in early childhood education from Oklahoma City University. She taught in Westminster's kindergarten and 5-Day programs from 1995-2002 and from 2011-2013. (2011)

Mandy Godfrey holds a B.S. in education, secondary English from OSU, a master's of library and information studies from OU, and an Ed.D in learning and leadership in organizations from Vanderbilt University. Mrs. Godfrey is the director of the Middle Division at Westminster School. (2009)

Bobby Baird graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in physical education. He has had additional training as a climbing instructor. Mr. Baird teaches middle school physical education and is the school's athletic director. (1981)
