Parent Testimonials
“My son, currently a fifth grade student, has attended Westminster School since he was in kindergarten. As a thirty-three-year veteran educator, I have been delighted with the educational experience he has had here. His teachers have provided him with a supportive classroom environment and have challenged him to use the critical thinking skills in all disciplines that will be so necessary for him to succeed in the twenty-first century. Additionally, my son’s grown brother and sister are constantly amazed at what he has learned from his education at Westminster. The educational opportunities he has received, along with the friendships he has forged during his time at Westminster, will surely serve to reinforce the skills and character traits I know my son will need, both in future learning situations and in life.”
“Westminster School is a place where you can be yourself, make valued contributions, learn life lessons and develop long lasting friendships. Students are challenged and well prepared for their future. Westminster has made our children and ourselves better individuals for having shared this experience. Westminster feels like home – we always look forward to coming back.”
"My two sons started at Westminster Day School in 1981, in 3-Day and 5-Day programs respectively. They continued for about ten years, under the guidance of Mrs. Charlotte Gibbons and Mr. Bob Vernon, along with some remarkable teachers who made indelible impressions and imparted great inspirations.
As a single, self-supporting mother, it was a big financial challenge for me to send them to a private school. However, I knew at the time, it would be the best investment I could ever make in my children's future. I felt that with the lessons in character building, core values and a solid education through Westminster, they would be empowered to do the things in life that would be important to them.
They are currently following their passion and doing work they love. As a parent, nothing brings me more happiness than to see them in the process of achieving their dreams. I feel that their education at Westminster made a tremendous contribution to their lives...and to mine!”
